Way back in the early 90's I sought out the official 'Aliens' lead miniatures that were manufactured by Leading Edge games. I was disappointed at the variance in scale between the Aliens and the Marines in these box sets. Determined to correct things, I spent several weeks creating some custom conversions that were compatible in scale. This called for the purchase of several Kryomek Marines, manufactured by Fantasy Forge (who shortly thereafter, sadly went out of business).
I repositioned many of the Aliens into more threatening poses and set about some major conversions with the Marines, which bear very little resemblance indeed to the figures they originated from. The following thumbnails will take you to pages showing images of each figure. The photos don't really do them justice as they suffer from an element 'flash' glare, close-up photography not being a particular strength of mine.
